Wedding Etiquette
By Peter Gitundu

Etiquette in weddings can some times be a bore; however it is important especially at traditional weddings that we follow all the rules that come with wedding. These include waiting for the bride and groom to serve the meal first after the bell is rung and to go to serve food in an orderly manner especially if it is a buffet. One of the most annoying things is to see people fidgeting or checking out their watches every second like they have somewhere better to be. Doing or behaving in such a way is rude and wrong and you must learn the dos and don'ts of wedding etiquette.

Wedding etiquette also involves the family involvement in the wedding as well as the order in which people shall give their speeches and toast. Making sure a wedding has order is what leads to the success of the wedding. There are several rules that we have to follow when creating the wedding so as not to have a problematic wedding.

If you are not sure of the way the wedding should go there are websites that provide you with free wedding advice on planning and regulating the wedding. There are rules for the way the gifts should be given and how to inform people on such matters. You will also see that seating arrangements are also important you cannot seat family members that are having a feud together because it will cause problems.

These wedding etiquette rules also apply to guest and as such one of the most important things is to reply the wedding invitation because you will not be counted especially if it is a card only wedding. Get all the rules from the various websites online.
